Terms of use
The ground rules.
Requires legal review before launch
1. The service
playNshare provides tools for two people to watch a video together, play games, and transfer files between browsers. The service is provided by [OPERATOR — legal name and address].
2. Permitted use
- You may use the service for lawful, personal communication with people who have agreed to connect with you.
- You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live, or have a parent’s or guardian’s permission.
3. Your responsibility for content
Videos you stream and files you share come from your own device and are sent directly to the other person. You are solely responsible for them. Only stream or share content you own or have the right to share.
4. Copyright
- Do not use the service to infringe copyright or other intellectual-property rights.
- The service does not bypass DRM or other technical protection measures, and you must not attempt to use it to do so.
- Copyright notices: [OPERATOR — designated contact and procedure].
5. Abuse
You must not use the service to:
- send malware, illegal content, or content that exploits or harms minors;
- harass, threaten or impersonate others;
- attempt to access rooms, links or data that are not yours, probe for vulnerabilities without authorisation, or disrupt the service (for example with automated traffic);
- circumvent rate limits or other technical restrictions.
We may block sessions, links or network addresses involved in abuse. Report abuse via the Contact page.
6. Service limitations
- The service is provided “as is”. Peer-to-peer connections depend on your browser, devices and networks, and may not work in every situation.
- Rooms and links expire. Data is deleted as described on the Privacy page; there is no backup of your content because we never hold it.
- One-time links limit downloads through this website only; recipients can keep or forward files they receive.
- We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time.
7. Liability
[OPERATOR — limitation of liability and governing-law clauses appropriate to your jurisdiction.]
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The date of the latest version will be shown here: [OPERATOR — date].
